Can you imagine being here during Christmas holiday?

I only live 25 miles away from the COTSWOLDS and I've never ever visited any of the beautiful villages and i've seen more of the world than my own country which is pretty sad.But that's all going to change because I'll be up there next month doing the *COTSWOLDS WAY TREK* i think it's around 100 miles through all the all the scienic villages and we end in *BATH* i think?? I'm not the planner and guide thank god because i know we'd all end up in FRANCE.But it will probably take us around 7-10 days I'm told to finish the hike depends on how fast you hike each obviously but instead of staying at a hotel every night which i was planning I've been strong-armed into camping instead to be one with nature I'm told and if anyone wants to join us feel free.But now I've got to do the dreaded task of going shopping for camping gear which i know absolutely nothing about so this should be really fun..Not..oh god what the hell have i got myself into again you silly silly man😵‍💫

Oh, I love Hellens! We visited last summer2023. I know what you mean about the paintings. Blew my mind seeing them just right there, no glass, no climate control…wow. I would love to go there again too. Herefordshire and all the West Midlands has so much history on offer. We stayed at a friends house in Eardisley, part of the black and white trail, for 6 weeks

I'm late finding this but thank you. I grew up in Lincoln and this brings back lots of memories. BTW, the statue of the man and his dog behind the Cathedral is the poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson, who was born a few miles away in Somersby.

My family had a cottage here at one time. I read the title and assumed straight away it was blanchland, and ive never even been there....
